Whether you face a student or a business communication you should always consider addressing strengths to most effectively close the gap. Granted we all could use more “practice” with even our most predominate talents in learning but if you want to accelerate the curve, observe then move the dialogue appropriately.
Auditory learners are perhaps the most gifted because they hear and visualize, often able to put words right into action. The kinesthetic learner on the other hand can be the teacher’s nightmare. In this example, “the receiver” can be confused with learning disabled if the one instructing is not paying careful attention. I’ve even wondered myself if this type learner is hard of hearing because they often do not respond to words particularly in the heat of the moment / competition. This is a core philosophy of what we do at Starboard Passage and this is a much more complicated discussion, if you have questions please feel free to message me. – Cheers, PaulJon

Floating some concepts as Starboard Passage rebrands its logo, always receptive to constructive feedback, and the contrary is often most valuable. 😉
